Introduction

Pomodoro is a time management technique and it is one of the simplest technique to increase the productivity level. The purpose of the Pomodoro technique is to stay focus, limit your distractions and to complete your task on time. To implement this technique we all need is a timer.

History

The Pomodoro technique was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980’s. The word Pomodoro is Italian word means tomato.

So Francisco used a kitchen timer shaped like tomato when was a university student. Hence this technique is known as Pomodoro technique.

Pomodoro

The Theory or the concept behind this technique is very simple and we can be divided into short time intervals which is 25 minutes/ session is called Pomodoro

How to Use Pomodoro Technique

  1. Decide on the task to be done (for example, complete Section 3 of this course).
  2. Set the Pomodoro timer (alarm) to 25 minutes.
  3. Work on the task until the timer rings. If a distraction pops into your head, write it down, but immediately get back on the task.
  4. After the timer tings, put a star (or a tick) on a piece of paper.
  5. Take a short 3–5 minute break.
  6. Repeat steps 1–4
  7. After you have 4 ticks on your paper, you can take a longer break (15–20 minutes), and continue working on your task by going to step 1 until you complete your task.

My Experience

By applying the Pomodoro Technique We allocate the Time for 1–2 hours and set the timer for experiment this technique.

I think this becomes very helpful for studying the things whatever you want to study personally I feel better when experience these Techniques.

First I decide the task of that I will be the Read the Passage of English and then I set the timer of 25 minutes that within this time frame I should be read and understand the passage , so for as face some of destruction that I face on first time as fellows,

1. The 1st destruction I face it all times is Less Stamina

2. The 2nd destruction is checking vocabulary means meaning of words

3. The 3rd destruction is can’t focus easily.

4. The 4rth destruction is checking Mobile for someone text me

5. The 5th destruction is friend disturb during the passage readings

6. The 6th destruction is Social Media Notifications

After that I try again after 3–4 minutes break and solved some of destructions and there is some issues that I face a lot as follows,

1. Friend disturb me again in my room (Roommate)

2. The Focus again have issue with me

After That I take a long break 15–20 minutes and repeat my activity and found myself very productive about the reading the passage which is very helpful for the productive study when you face hurdles I think this is the best way to solve the hurdles, So if someone want to be productive and efficient and make success in life and solve problem within specific and limited time so this the best way to solve the problems.
